Installation Instructions

1. For the installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, it is paramount to use exclusive methods like electric fusion welding and hot melt docking for unmatched performance and durability. Avoid screw connections or bonding, as they endanger the pipeline's strength and integrity. Each connection of polyethylene water supply pipelines must be executed with specialized tools crafted for precision. Refrain from using open flames for heating during connections to prevent damage and ensure utmost safety.

2. Connect polyethylene pipes using PE pipes and fittings from the same brand, material, and SDR rating to ensure impeccable compatibility and reliability. Before starting the connection, conduct a thorough test to confirm the quality meets the required standards, assuring a secure and enduring pipeline.

3. When joining polyethylene water supply pipelines, maintain immaculate pipe ends for a seamless and efficient connection. Seal pipe openings temporarily at the end of each work session to prevent contamination. Inspect the interface immediately after completing the connection to ensure it is secure and without defects.

4. Prior to and after hot melt butt welding, clean the heating plate meticulously with a pristine cotton cloth for optimal heat transfer and superior connection quality. Adhere strictly to the heating time and temperature guidelines specified by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine, pipes, and fittings for the best results.

5. Follow the prescribed pressure-holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as stipulated by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. It is crucial not to move or apply pressure to the connecting parts during these periods to ensure a strong and stable connection.

6. After connection, conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour after completing the hot-melt weld to validate the pipeline's integrity and reliability. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints before the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, expel all air, and then check for water tightness to confirm a successful connection.

7. The pipeline engineering construction can only be considered operational after passing the final acceptance inspection, ensuring compliance with all standards and specifications for a safe and effective water supply system.
