Installation Instructions
In the installation process of MPP power cable protection tube, the connection method is a very important part. The correct selection of the appropriate connection method can ensure the reliable operation of the power piping system. This section introduces several common MPP power cable protection tube connection methods to help you understand the characteristics and application scenarios of each method.
01, Before installing, ensure the power supply, hydraulic oil, and heating plate of the welding machine meet the required standards. Perform an empty run test on the milling cutter oil pump switch. Fit the slips that match the pipe specifications into the rack. Set the heating plate's temperature to the welding temperature, and clean its surface with soft paper or alcohol to remove any oil stains before heating.
02, Remove any dirt from both pipe ends. Position the pipe in the frame clamp, ensuring equal length extension at both ends, supported by external supports. Align the pipe height with the frame's centerline and secure the slip. Insert the milling cutter and begin milling the pipe.
03, Once continuous cutting is achieved at both ends, release the pressure and idle the milling cutter for two or three weeks before retracting the movable frame and turning off the milling cutter.
04, Remove the milling cutter and bring the pipe ends together. Ensure the end-face displacement does not exceed 10% of the pipe wall thickness. There should be no noticeable gap between the pipe ends, adhering to the gap width specification of 0.3MM (DN).<25MM); If 0.5MM (225MM400MM) does not meet the requirements, it should be milled again.
05, When the heating plate reaches the set temperature, quickly position it in the rack and apply the specified pressure until the pipe end circumference curls to the required height. Reduce the pressure to the specified value, ensuring contact between the pipe end face and heating plate, and continue heating for the specified time.
06,When the heat absorption time reaches the specified value, retract the movable frame and swiftly remove the heating plate. Bring the two pipe ends together quickly, ensuring the switching time does not exceed the specified value. Avoid excessive closing pressure to prevent squeezing out molten material and compromising weld quality.
07,Increase the pressure to the specified level and maintain it for cooling. After natural cooling to room temperature, release the pressure, loosen the slip, and remove the pipe to complete the welding process.
