Installation Instructions

 

1. Prior to installation, each pipe shall undergo a rigorous inspection to ensure compliance with product standards. Laying non-compliant pipes is strictly prohibited.

2. Exercise utmost care when moving pipes-lift and place them gently. Dragging, rolling, or using forklifts, tractors, or similar equipment to move pipes in the trench is strictly forbidden.

3. Ensure the trench remains free of water during pipe laying. Dig the trench concurrently with pipe laying, adjusting the trench length to match the pipe interface length. Maintain a depth of 50-100mm and a width at least equal to the pipe's outer diameter. Backfill grooves immediately after interface completion using medium coarse sand.

4. For pipe length adjustments, utilize mechanical cutting methods to achieve a clean, perpendicular cut to the pipe axis. Avoid using open flames for cutting.

 

5. When altering pipe diameters or connecting branch pipes, use appropriate, compatible fittings. Refrain from cutting holes into pipes and fittings for connections.

6. Lay pipes according to the specified slope in the design requirements. The elevation error must not exceed the limits outlined in the national standard "Code for the Construction and Application of Water Supply and Drainage Pipe Engineering" GB 50268 for prestressed concrete water supply and drainage pipes.

7. Employ fusion or flange connections particularly when ambient temperatures are low or near the minimum threshold. Ensure the connecting parts-socket, sleeve, seal-are free from soil, water, and other impurities. For metal components like looping flanges and bolts used in flange connections, apply anti-corrosion measures based on site-specific soil conditions and adhere to relevant standards.
