Installation Instructions

 

1. Prior to installation, conduct a meticulous inspection of each pipe to ensure it fully complies with our stringent product standards. Any pipe that fails to meet these criteria must not be installed under any circumstances.

2. Handle each pipe with the utmost care during relocation. Avoid dragging, rolling, or using equipment such as forklifts, tractors, or any other heavy machinery to move the pipes into the trench.

3. Ensure the trench remains completely free of water during the pipe laying process. Ideally, dig the trench concurrently with pipe laying. The trench groove length should be aligned with the interface length, with a depth of 50-100mm and a width not less than the pipe's outer diameter. Backfill the groove with medium coarse sand immediately upon completing the interface.

4. For cutting pipes to the required lengths, always utilize mechanical methods to ensure a clean, flat cut that is perpendicular to the pipe axis. Never use open flames for cutting.

 

5. When changing pipe diameters or connecting branch pipes, always use the appropriate pipe fittings. Never create openings directly on pipes or fittings for connections.

6. Lay pipes following the specified slope from the design requirements, ensuring that the elevation error does not exceed the limits set in the national standard GB 50268, 'Code for the Construction and Application of Water Supply and Drainage Pipe Engineering'.

7. For low ambient temperatures or near-minimum conditions, employ fusion or flange connections. Ensure all connecting parts, including sockets, sleeves, and seals, are clean and free from soil, water, or other impurities. Apply anti-corrosion treatments to metal components like looping flanges and bolts according to soil quality and relevant standards.
