Installation Instructions

 

The connection modes of HDPE double-wall bellows and b and c tubes include mechanical connection and a series of thermal fusion procedures. The main methods are butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection.

1. The pipeline should be based on a sturdy earth arc. For general soil quality, lay a medium coarse sand base layer, 100mm thick, on undisturbed soil or compacted backfill beneath the pipe. For poor soil quality, use a sand gravel base layer no less than 200mm thick, which can be laid in two layers: the lower layer comprises 5-32mm gravel, 100-150mm thick, and the upper layer comprises coarse sand, no less than 50mm thick. The base density must comply with Table 2. For soft soil foundations with insufficient bearing capacity or disturbed soil due to construction or precipitation, strengthen the foundation first and then lay the medium coarse sand foundation layer after achieving the required bearing capacity.

2. The axillary corner within the designed earth arc foundation's supporting angle must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling range shall not be less than the supporting angle 2α plus 30 degrees, and the compactness must comply with technical regulations.
 

 

3. Groove digging in the socket interface and sleeve connection areas of the pipeline foundation should coincide with pipeline laying. Determine the groove's length, width, and depth according to the pipe joint size, and backfill with medium coarse sand immediately after joint completion.

4. Reinforce the foundation before laying the pipeline in sections where longitudinal uneven settlement may occur due to pipeline load and changes in ground soil.
For polyethylene drainage pipe foundation treatment, adopt composite methods like sand pile or stone pile. Avoid rigid methods such as driven pile, concrete pad, or concrete strip foundation.
