Installation Instructions
 

The connection methods for HDPE double-wall bellows, as well as B and C tubes, encompass both mechanical connections and a variety of thermal fusion procedures. The primary connection modes include butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection.

1. The pipeline should be supported on an earth arc foundation. For typical soil conditions, lay a 100mm thick layer of medium coarse sand on the undisturbed soil foundation or on a compacted backfill foundation below the pipeline's bottom. If the foundation soil is poor, use a sand gravel base layer of no less than 200mm thick. This can be done in two layers: a lower layer of 100-150mm thick gravel with a particle size of 5-32mm, and an upper layer of coarse sand at least 50mm thick. The base density must adhere to the specifications in Table 2. For soft soil foundations, if the foundation's bearing capacity is less than required or is disturbed due to construction or precipitation, it must first be strengthened to meet the specified bearing capacity before laying the medium coarse sand foundation layer.

2. The axillary corner within the supporting angle range of the designed earth arc foundation must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling area should not be less than the supporting angle 2α plus 30, and the compactness of the backfilling must meet the technical regulation requirements.

3. Socket interface and sleeve connection grooves in the pipeline foundation should be excavated concurrently with pipeline laying. Determine the groove's length, width, and depth based on the pipe joint size. Upon joint completion, immediately backfill the groove with medium coarse sand to the required density.

4. For sections where longitudinal uneven settlement of the pipeline may occur due to factors such as pipeline load or ground soil changes, reinforce the foundation before laying the pipeline.
For polyethylene drainage pipe foundations, use composite treatment methods like sand piles or stone piles. Avoid rigid foundation treatments such as driven piles, concrete pads, or concrete strip foundations.
