During the installation process of the MPP power cable protection tube, choosing the right connection method is crucial. Proper selection ensures reliable operation of the power piping system. This section presents various commonly used MPP power cable protection tube connection methods, detailing their characteristics and application scenarios for better understanding.

01,Before beginning installation, ensure that the power supply, hydraulic oil, and heating plate of the welding machine meet the required specifications. Conduct a test run on the milling cutter oil pump switch. Install the slips matching the pipe's specifications into the rack. Set the heating plate to the welding temperature. Before heating, clean the heating plate's surface with soft, clean paper or alcohol to remove any oil stains.

02,Remove any dirt from both ends of the pipe. Place the pipe into the frame clamp, ensuring that the extension length is equal at both ends. Support the parts extending outside the pipe rack. Align the pipe to match the frame's centerline height and then secure the slip. Insert the milling cutter and start milling the pipe.

03,Mill the pipe until continuous cutting is achieved at both ends. Release the pressure and let the milling cutter idle for two to three rotations before retracting the movable frame and turning off the milling cutter switch.
 
04,Remove the milling cutter and close the pipes at both ends. Inspect the end faces; the displacement at both ends should not exceed 10% of the pipe wall thickness. Ensure there is no significant gap between the pipe ends when closing, adhering to the gap width standard: 0.3MM (DN).<25MM); If 0.5MM (225MM400MM) does not meet the requirements, it should be milled again.

05,Once the heating plate reaches the set temperature, quickly place it into the rack and apply the specified pressure until the pipe ends curl to the specified height. Reduce the pressure to the designated value to ensure the pipe end faces contact the heating plate. Continue heating for the specified duration.

06,When the heat absorption time reaches its required value, retract the movable frame and swiftly remove the heating plate. Close the two pipe ends together, ensuring the switching time is minimal and does not exceed the specified limit. The closing pressure should be moderate to avoid squeezing out molten material, which can compromise welding quality.

07,Increase the pressure to the specified value and maintain it during the cooling process. After allowing the pipe to cool naturally to room temperature, release the pressure. Loosen the slip and remove the pipe, thus completing the welding process.
