In the installation process of MPP power cable protection tube, the connection method is a very important part. The correct selection of the appropriate connection method can ensure the reliable operation of the power piping system. This section introduces several common MPP power cable protection tube connection methods to help you understand the characteristics and application scenarios of each method.

01, Before beginning the installation, ensure that the power supply, hydraulic oil, and heating plate of the welding machine meet the welding requirements. Execute a test run on the milling cutter oil pump switch, etc. Insert the slips that match the pipe specifications into the rack. Set the heating plate to the designated welding temperature, and clean its surface with soft paper or alcohol to remove any oil stains before heating.

02, Remove dirt from both ends of the pipe. Position the pipe into the frame clamp so that the length of the extension at both ends is even. Support the parts outside the pipe rack with supports. Align the pipe height with the frame's centerline, then secure the slip. Insert the milling cutter and proceed to mill the pipe.

03, Mill the pipe until continuous cutting occurs at both ends. Remove the pressure and allow the milling cutter to idle for two or three revolutions before retracting the movable frame and turning off the milling cutter switch.

 

04, Remove the milling cutter and close the pipes at both ends. Inspect the end faces; the displacement at both ends should not exceed 10% of the pipe wall thickness. When closing, ensure there is no significant gap between the pipe ends, and the gap width should comply with: 0.3MM (DN).<25MM); If 0.5MM (225MM400MM) does not meet the requirements, it should be milled again.

05, Once the heating plate reaches the set temperature, quickly place it into the rack and apply the specified pressure until the circumference of the pipe ends is flipped and the minimum curling reaches the specified height. Reduce the pressure to the designated value to ensure the pipe end faces contact the heating plate, and continue heating until the specified time.

06,When the heat absorption time reaches the prescribed value, retract the movable frame and swiftly remove the heating plate. Close the two pipe ends tightly-the switching time should be minimized and not exceed the specified value. The closing pressure must not be too high to avoid squeezing out molten material, which would degrade welding quality.

07,Raise the pressure to the specific value and maintain it for cooling. After allowing the pipe to cool naturally to room temperature, release the pressure, loosen the slip, remove the pipe, and complete the welding process.
