Installation Instructions

 

1. Prior to installation, each pipe must undergo a meticulous inspection to confirm absolute adherence to product standards. Pipes that do not meet these rigorous standards are strictly prohibited from being installed.

2. Handle each pipe with the utmost care during relocation. Avoid dragging, rolling, or using heavy machinery such as forklifts or tractors to move the pipes in the trench to prevent damage.

3. Ensure the trench remains dry during the pipe laying process. Ideally, dig the trench in tandem with pipe laying. The trench groove length should match the interface length, with a depth of 50-100mm and a width not less than the pipe's outer diameter. Immediately backfill the groove with medium coarse sand upon completing the interface.

4. For cutting pipes to the required lengths, use mechanical methods to ensure a clean, flat cut perpendicular to the pipe axis. Refrain from using open flames for cutting to maintain safety and precision.

 

5. When altering pipe diameters or connecting branch pipes, always employ the appropriate pipe fittings. Avoid making openings directly on pipes or fittings for connections to ensure integrity.

6. Lay pipes according to the specified slope from the design requirements, ensuring the elevation error does not exceed the limits set by the national standard GB 50268, 'Code for the Construction and Application of Water Supply and Drainage Pipe Engineering'.

7. For low ambient temperatures or near-minimum conditions, use fusion or flange connections. Ensure all connecting parts, including sockets, sleeves, and seals, are clean and free from soil, water, or other impurities. Apply anti-corrosion treatments to metal components like looping flanges and bolts, adhering to soil quality and relevant standards.
