Installation Instructions

In the installation process of the MPP power cable protection tube, choosing the right connection method is crucial. The proper connection ensures the reliable operation of the power piping system. Here, we introduce several common MPP power cable protection tube connection methods, detailing their unique characteristics and specific application scenarios to help you make an informed decision.

01, Before installation, inspect whether the power supply, hydraulic oil, and heating plate of the welding machine meet the welding requirements. Perform a test run on the milling cutter oil pump switch, etc. Install the slips that match the pipe specifications into the rack. Set the heating plate temperature to the welding temperature, and before heating, clean the surface of the heating plate with clean soft paper or alcohol to remove any oil stains.

02, Remove any dirt from both ends of the pipe. Place the pipe into the frame clamp, ensuring equal extension lengths at both ends. Support the parts outside the pipe rack with supports. Align the pipe height with the centerline of the frame, then secure the slip. Insert the milling cutter and proceed to mill the pipe.

03, Mill the pipe until continuous cutting occurs at both ends, then remove the pressure and let the milling cutter idle for two to three revolutions before retracting the movable frame and turning off the milling cutter switch.

04, Remove the milling cutter and close the pipes at both ends. Inspect the end face, ensuring the displacement at both ends does not exceed 10% of the pipe wall thickness. When closing, there should be no obvious gap between the pipe ends, with a permissible gap width of 0.3MM (DN.<25MM); If 0.5MM (225MM400MM) does not meet the requirements, it should be milled again.

05, When the heating plate reaches the set temperature, quickly place it into the rack and apply the specified pressure until the pipe ends' circumference flips and the minimum curling reaches the specified height. Reduce the pressure to the prescribed value, allowing the pipe ends to contact the heating plate. Continue heating until the specified duration is reached.

06, When the heat absorption time reaches the specified value, retract the movable frame and swiftly remove the heating plate. Close the two pipe ends immediately, ensuring the switching time is as short as possible, not exceeding the specified limit. The closing pressure should be optimal to prevent squeezing out molten material and compromising welding quality.07, Raise the pressure to the specified value and maintain it for cooling. After natural cooling to room temperature, release the pressure, loosen the slip, remove the pipe, and complete the welding process.

08, Final inspection: Ensure all connections are secure and free of defects.
