In the installation process of the MPP power cable protection tube, the connection method is a crucial element. Choosing the correct connection method ensures the reliable operation of the power piping system. This section details several common MPP power cable protection tube connection methods to help you grasp the unique characteristics and application scenarios of each method.

01. Before installation, ensure the power supply, hydraulic oil, and heating plate of the welding machine meet the welding requirements. Conduct an empty car test run on the milling cutter oil pump switch and other components. Install the slips matching the pipe specifications into the rack. Set the heating plate temperature to the welding temperature, and clean its surface with clean soft paper or alcohol to remove oil stains before heating.

02. Remove dirt from both ends of the pipe and place the pipe into the frame clamp, ensuring equal extensions at both ends. Support the parts outside the pipe rack with supports. Align the pipe height with the centerline of the frame, secure the slip, insert a milling cutter, and mill the pipe.

03. Mill the pipe until continuous cutting is observed at both ends. Remove the pressure and let the milling cutter idle for two or three rotations before retracting the movable frame and turning off the milling cutter switch.

 

04. Take out the milling cutter and close the pipes at both ends. Check that the displacement at both ends of the pipe does not exceed 10% of the pipe wall thickness. Ensure no obvious gap between the two end faces of the pipe; the gap width should comply with standards, such as 0.3MM (DN.<25MM); If 0.5MM (225MM400MM) does not meet the requirements, it should be milled again.

05. When the heating plate reaches the set temperature, place it quickly into the rack and apply the specified pressure until the pipe ends flip and the minimum curling reaches the required height. Reduce the pressure to the specified value so the pipe end face contacts the heating plate and continue heating for the specified duration.

06. Once the heat absorption time reaches the specified value, retract the movable frame, swiftly remove the heating plate, and close the pipe ends. Ensure the switching time is minimal, not exceeding the specified value. Avoid excessive closing pressure to prevent squeezing out molten material and compromising welding quality.07. Increase the pressure to the specified value and maintain it for cooling. After natural cooling to room temperature, release the pressure, loosen the slip, remove the pipe, and complete the welding process.
