Installation Instructions

The connection methods for HDPE double-wall bellows and various pipe types, including B and C tubes, are versatile and dependable. They encompass mechanical connections and an array of thermal fusion procedures, such as butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection. These methods ensure a secure and lasting installation.

1. To ensure a stable pipeline installation, the pipeline should be laid on an earthen arc foundation. For typical soil conditions, lay a 100mm-thick layer of medium coarse sand on the undisturbed soil or compacted backfill foundation below the pipe. For poor soil conditions, use a sand gravel base layer of at least 200mm thickness. This can be laid in two layers: the lower layer consisting of 100-150mm thick gravel with particle sizes of 5-32mm, and the upper layer of coarse sand with a minimum thickness of 50mm. The base density must comply with the specifications in Table 2. In the case of soft soil foundations, if the bearing capacity is below design requirements or disturbed due to construction precipitation, the foundation must be strengthened first. Once the specified bearing capacity is achieved, lay the medium coarse sand foundation layer.

2. Within the supporting angle range of the designed earth arc foundation, the axillary corners must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling should extend beyond the supporting angle 2α by at least 30 degrees, and the compactness must adhere to the technical regulations.

3. Grooves for the socket interface and sleeve connection in the pipeline foundation should be excavated in tandem with the pipeline laying process. The groove dimensions (length, width, and depth) should be based on the pipe joint size. After completing the joint, immediately backfill the area with medium coarse sand to ensure proper density.

4. In sections where longitudinal uneven settlement of the pipeline may occur due to pipeline load or changes in ground soil, the foundation must be reinforced before laying the pipeline.
For polyethylene drainage pipe foundation treatment, adopt composite foundation treatment methods such as sand piles or stone piles. Avoid using rigid foundation treatments like driven piles, concrete pads, or concrete strip foundations to ensure optimal performance.
