Installation Instructions

 

1. Before embarking on the installation, meticulously inspect each pipe to ensure it adheres to stringent product standards. Any pipe that fails to meet these standards must be unequivocally excluded from installation.

2. Exercise the highest level of care when relocating pipes. Under no circumstances should you drag, roll, or use heavy machinery such as forklifts, tractors, or similar equipment to transport the pipes within the trench.

3. Maintain a dry trench during the pipe laying process for optimal results. Coordinate trench excavation with pipe laying, ensuring the trench groove length matches the interface length. The groove depth should be between 50-100mm and its width should be no less than the pipe's outer diameter. Once the interface has been completed, promptly backfill the groove with medium coarse sand.

4. When cutting pipes to the desired lengths, always use mechanical methods to achieve a clean, flat cut that is perpendicular to the pipe axis. Do not use open flames for cutting under any circumstances.

 

5. For alterations in pipe diameter or for connecting branch pipes, always utilize the appropriate pipe fittings. Never create openings directly on the pipes or fittings for connections.

6. Adhere to the specified slope outlined in the design requirements when laying pipes, ensuring the elevation error remains within the limits specified in the national standard GB 50268, 'Code for the Construction and Application of Water Supply and Drainage Pipe Engineering.'

7. In conditions of low ambient temperatures or environments near minimum temperature thresholds, employ fusion or flange connections. Ensure all connecting components, such as sockets, sleeves, and seals, are impeccably clean and devoid of soil, water, or other impurities. Apply anti-corrosion treatments to metal parts like looping flanges and bolts according to soil quality and pertinent standards.
