The connection methods for HDPE double-wall bellows with b and c tubes include both mechanical connections and a series of sophisticated thermal fusion procedures. The primary techniques are butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection.

1. The pipeline should rest on an earth arc. For typical soil, lay a 100mm thick layer of medium coarse sand on the undisturbed soil foundation or the compacted backfill foundation below the pipe. If the soil quality is poor, use a sand gravel layer of at least 200mm thickness, which can be applied in two layers: the lower layer consists of gravel with a particle size of 5~32mm and a thickness of 100~150mm, while the upper layer is coarse sand with a thickness of no less than 50mm. The base density must meet the criteria specified in Table 2. For soft soil foundations, if the bearing capacity is below design requirements or affected by construction precipitation causing soil disturbance, the foundation must first be strengthened. Only after achieving the specified bearing capacity can the medium coarse sand foundation layer be laid.

2. The axillary corner within the supporting angle range of the designed earth arc foundation for the pipeline must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfill range should be no less than the supporting angle 2α plus 30, and the compactness of the backfill must meet the technical regulations.

3. The grooves for socket interfaces and sleeve connections in the pipeline foundation should be excavated concurrently with the pipeline laying process. The dimensions of the groove in terms of length, width, and depth should match the pipe joint size. Upon completion of the joint, promptly backfill the area with medium coarse sand to the needed density.

4. For sections of the pipeline where longitudinal uneven settlement may occur due to pipeline load or changes in ground soil, ensure that the foundation is reinforced prior to laying the pipeline.
For the foundational treatment of polyethylene drainage pipes, utilize composite methods such as sand piles or stone piles. Avoid using rigid foundation treatments like driven piles, concrete pads, and concrete strip foundations.
