Installation Instructions

In the installation process of MPP power cable protection tube, the connection method is a critical aspect that ensures the reliable operation of the power piping system. Choosing the right connection method is paramount. This section delves into various common MPP power cable protection tube connection methods, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of the characteristics and application scenarios of each technique.

01. Before installation, ensure that the power supply, hydraulic oil, and heating plate of the welding machine meet the welding requirements. Conduct a test run on the milling cutter oil pump switch. Install the slips that match the pipe specifications into the rack. Set the temperature of the heating plate to the required welding temperature. Before heating, clean the surface of the heating plate with clean soft paper or alcohol to remove oil stains.

02. Clean both ends of the pipe. Position the pipe into the frame clamp so that the extension length at both ends is equal. Support the parts of the pipe outside the rack with supports. Ensure the pipe height aligns with the centerline of the frame, then secure the slip. Insert a milling cutter and mill the pipe.

03. Mill the pipe until continuous cutting occurs at both ends. Remove the pressure and allow the milling cutter to idle for two or three rotations before retracting the movable frame and turning off the milling cutter switch.

04. Remove the milling cutter and close the pipes at both ends. Inspect the end face; the displacement at both ends should not exceed 10% of the pipe wall thickness. When closing, ensure there is no significant gap between the two end faces, adhering to the gap width specification: 0.3MM (DN).<25MM); If 0.5MM (225MM400MM) does not meet the requirements, it should be milled again.

When the heating plate reaches the set temperature, promptly place it into the rack and apply the specified pressure until the circumference of the pipe ends flips and the minimum curling reaches the specified height. Reduce the pressure to the designated value, allowing the pipe end face to contact the heating plate. Continue heating until the allotted time is reached.

06. Once the heat absorption time reaches the specified value, retract the movable frame and swiftly remove the heating plate. Close the two pipe ends, ensuring the switching time is as short as possible, not exceeding the specified limit. Avoid excessive closing pressure to prevent squeezing out molten material, maintaining welding quality.07. Increase the pressure to the specified value and maintain it during cooling. After natural cooling to room temperature, release the pressure, loosen the slip, remove the pipe, and finalize the welding process.
