Installation Instructions

 

The connection modes of our HDPE double-wall bellows and b and c tubes are versatile, including mechanical and thermal fusion procedures. The main connection modes are: butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection. Each method ensures a secure and durable fit, tailored to your specific project needs.

1. Pipeline installation should start with a solid earth arc base. For general soil conditions, lay a 100mm thick layer of medium coarse sand on the undisturbed soil foundation or on a compacted backfill below the pipe. If the soil quality is poor, use a sand gravel base layer at least 200mm thick. This can be laid in two layers: a lower layer of 5~32mm gravel, 100~150mm thick, and an upper layer of coarse sand, at least 50mm thick. The base density should adhere to Table 2 standards. For soft soil foundations with inadequate bearing capacity due to construction or other factors, ensure the foundation is strengthened before laying the medium coarse sand foundation layer.

2. The axillary corner within the pipeline's supporting angle must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling area should cover at least the supporting Angle 2α plus 30, ensuring the compactness meets technical regulations.
 

 

3. During pipeline foundation laying, dig grooves for the socket interface and sleeve connections accordingly. The groove's length, width, and depth depend on the pipe joint size. Once the joint is completed, immediately backfill with medium coarse sand to ensure stability.

4. In sections where longitudinal uneven settlement might occur due to pipeline load or soil changes, reinforce the foundation before laying the pipe to prevent future issues.
For the foundation treatment of polyethylene drainage pipes, adopt composite methods like sand pile or stone pile treatments. Avoid rigid methods such as driven piles, concrete pads, or concrete strip foundations, to maintain the flexibility and integrity of the installation.
