Installation Instructions

 

The connection methods for HDPE double-wall bellows and b and c tubes are both versatile and robust. These methods include mechanical connections and a variety of thermal fusion techniques. The primary connection modes comprise butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection, ensuring a secure and reliable join for various applications.

1. The pipeline installation must be based on an earth arc. For general soil quality, a medium coarse sand base layer, 100mm thick, should be laid on the undisturbed soil foundation or on a compacted backfill foundation below the pipe bottom. If the foundation soil quality is poor, use a sand gravel base layer at least 200mm thick. This can be laid in two layers: the lower layer consisting of 5~32mm gravel, 100~150mm thick, and the upper layer of coarse sand, not less than 50mm thick. The base density should meet the specifications in Table 2. For soft soil foundations, if the bearing capacity is below design requirements or disturbed due to construction precipitation or other reasons, the foundation must be strengthened before laying the medium coarse sand foundation layer to reach the specified bearing capacity.

2. The axillary corner within the support angle range of the designed earth arc foundation of the pipeline must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling range should extend beyond the supporting angle 2α by at least 30, and the compactness of the backfill must adhere to the technical regulations.
 

 

3. For the grooves in the socket interface and sleeve connection in the pipeline foundation, excavation should be carried out concurrently with pipeline laying. The groove's length, width, and depth should be determined based on pipe joint size. Once the joint is completed, backfill the area immediately with medium coarse sand, ensuring proper density.

4. Reinforce the foundation before laying the pipeline in sections where longitudinal uneven settlement may occur due to factors like pipeline load and changes in ground soil.
For polyethylene drainage pipe foundation treatment, employ sand pile, stone pile, and other composite foundation treatment methods. Avoid using rigid foundation treatment methods such as driven piles, concrete pads, and concrete strip foundations.
