Installation Instructions

1. Every pipe must undergo meticulous inspection in strict adherence to the product standards before being laid down. Pipes that do not meet the standards are absolutely prohibited from being installed.

2. During transportation, pipes should be handled with utmost care, lifted and placed gently. Dragging, rolling, or using forklifts, tractors, or similar equipment to move pipes in the trench is strictly forbidden.

3. Ensure no water accumulates in the trench during the laying process. It is ideal to excavate simultaneously with the pipe laying. The trench length should match the interface length, with a depth of 50-100mm and a width no less than the pipe’s outer diameter. Backfill the grooves immediately after completing the interface with medium-coarse sand.

4. When cutting pipes to the desired length, always use mechanical methods. Ensure the cutting surface is smooth and perpendicular to the pipe axis. Avoid using open flames for cutting.

5. Utilize appropriate pipe fittings when altering the pipe diameter or connecting branch pipes. Never create openings on pipes and fittings for connections.

6. Lay pipes according to the design-required slope, ensuring the elevation error does not exceed the specified limits set by the national standard “Code for the Construction and Application of Water Supply and Drainage Pipe Engineering” GB 50268 for prestressed concrete pipes.

7. For fusion and flange connections, especially in low ambient temperatures, ensure thorough cleaning of sockets, sleeves, seals, and other components to remove soil, water, and impurities. Apply anti-corrosion measures to metal components like looping flanges and bolts according to the soil quality and relevant standards.
