The connection modes of HDPE double-wall bellows and b and c tubes are versatile, featuring both mechanical connection options and an array of advanced thermal fusion techniques. The primary methods encompass butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection, each designed to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability in your installations.
1. The pipeline should rest on an earth arc base. For general soil conditions, lay a 100mm thick medium coarse sand base on the stable soil foundation or where backfill compaction is completed below the pipe's bottom. In cases of poor soil quality, utilize a sand gravel base layer no less than 200mm thick. This may be applied in two layers: a lower gravel layer with 5~32mm particles at 100~150mm thickness, and an upper coarse sand layer no less than 50mm thick. Ensure that the base density aligns with Table 2's regulations. For soft soil foundations, where the bearing capacity is deficient or compromised by construction activities, strengthen the foundation first. Once the specified bearing capacity is achieved, lay the medium coarse sand foundation layer.
2. Within the support angle range of the pipeline's designed earth arc foundation, backfill the axillary corner with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling range should at least equal the support angle 2α plus 30. Ensure that the backfilling compactness adheres strictly to technical regulation standards, guaranteeing a stable and secure installation.
3. During the construction of the pipeline foundation, the grooves for socket interface and sleeve connections should be meticulously dug concurrently with pipeline laying. Determine the length, width, and depth of the groove based on the pipe joint size. Once joint work is completed, promptly backfill the grooves with medium coarse sand to ensure the necessary density and stability of the installation.
4. For areas prone to longitudinal uneven settlement due to factors such as pipe load or soil changes, reinforce the foundation before laying the pipeline. This proactive step is crucial to maintaining the pipeline's integrity and functionality over time.
In addressing the foundation treatment for polyethylene drainage pipes, employ composite methods like sand piles or stone piles. Avoid rigid solutions such as driven piles, concrete pads, and strip foundations, as they are not suitable for this application. This approach ensures long-lasting performance and stability.
