Installation Instructions
 

The connection modes of HDPE double-wall bellows and accompanying b and c tubes encompass both mechanical connections and an array of thermal fusion procedures. Key methods include butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection.

1. The pipeline installation should use an earth arc-based foundation. For typical soil conditions, a 100mm medium coarse sand base layer should be laid on undisturbed or compacted soil beneath the pipe. If the soil quality is poor, use a sand gravel base layer at least 200mm thick, which can be applied in two layers: a lower layer of 100-150mm gravel (particle size 5-32mm) and an upper layer of at least 50mm coarse sand. The base density must comply with Table 2 guidelines. For soft soil foundations, if the bearing capacity does not meet design requirements or is affected by factors like construction precipitation, the foundation must be strengthened. Once the specified bearing capacity is achieved, lay the medium coarse sand foundation layer.

2. The axillary corner within the supporting angle range of the designed earth arc foundation of the pipeline must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfill range should not be less than the supporting angle 2α plus 30, and the compactness should meet the technical regulations.

3. Grooves in the socket interface and sleeve connections within the pipeline foundation should be excavated alongside the pipeline laying process. The groove's length, width, and depth should match the pipe joint size. Once the joint is completed, backfill immediately with medium coarse sand to achieve the required density.

4. In sections where longitudinal uneven settlement of the pipeline may occur-due to pipeline load or changes in ground soil-the foundation should be reinforced before pipeline installation.
For foundation treatment of polyethylene drainage pipes, methods like sand pile and stone pile composite foundations are recommended. Avoid rigid foundation treatments such as driven piles, concrete pads, and concrete strip foundations.
