Installation Instructions
 

The connection modes of HDPE double-wall bellows and b and c tubes include mechanical connection and a series of thermal fusion procedures, the main modes are butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection and compression connection.

1. The pipeline foundation should be built on an earth arc. For typical soil conditions, a medium coarse sand base layer with a thickness of 100mm should be laid on undisturbed soil or compacted backfill beneath the pipe bottom. If the soil quality is poor, a sand-gravel base layer with a thickness of at least 200mm is required, laid in two layers: the lower layer consists of gravel with a particle size of 5-32mm and thickness of 100-150mm, while the upper layer is coarse sand with a thickness of not less than 50mm. The base density must comply with the provisions of Table 2. For soft soil foundations where bearing capacity is below design requirements, or if the original soil is disturbed by construction or precipitation, the foundation must be strengthened to meet specified bearing capacities before laying the medium coarse sand foundation layer.

2. The axillary corners within the support angle range of the designed earth arc foundation must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling range must not be less than the support angle 2α plus 30 degrees, and the compactness of the backfill must comply with technical regulations.

3. The grooves for socket interfaces and sleeve connections in the pipeline foundation should be dug concurrently with the pipeline laying process. The groove's length, width, and depth should be determined by the pipe joint size. Upon completion of the joint, the groove should be immediately backfilled with medium coarse sand to achieve proper density.

4. In sections where longitudinal uneven settlement of the pipeline may occur due to factors like pipeline load or changes in ground soil, the foundation should be reinforced prior to the pipeline installation.
For the foundation treatment of polyethylene drainage pipes, methods such as sand pile or stone pile composite foundation treatments should be utilized. Rigid foundation treatment measures like driven piles, concrete pads, or concrete strip foundations are not recommended.
