Installation Instructions

 

1. Before installation, each pipe must undergo a comprehensive inspection to ensure adherence to all product standards. Pipes not meeting these standards are prohibited from being installed.

2. Handle each pipe with the utmost care during relocation. Avoid dragging, rolling, or using equipment such as forklifts, tractors, or any other heavy machinery to move the pipes within the trench.

3. Ensure the trench remains dry during the pipe laying process. Ideally, dig the trench concurrently with the pipe installation. The trench groove length should match the interface length, with a depth of 50-100mm and a width not less than the pipe's outer diameter. Backfill the groove with medium coarse sand immediately after completing the interface.

4. When cutting pipes to the required lengths, use mechanical methods to achieve a clean, flat cut perpendicular to the pipe axis. Avoid using open flames for cutting.

 

5. When changing pipe diameters or connecting branch pipes, always use the appropriate pipe fittings. Avoid creating openings directly on pipes or fittings for connections.

6. Lay pipes according to the specified slope from the design requirements, ensuring the elevation error does not exceed the limits set in the national standard GB 50268, 'Code for the Construction and Application of Water Supply and Drainage Pipe Engineering'.

7. For low ambient temperatures or near-minimum conditions, employ fusion or flange connections. Ensure all connecting parts-including sockets, sleeves, and seals-are clean and free from soil, water, or other impurities. Apply anti-corrosion treatments to metal components like looping flanges and bolts based on soil quality and relevant standards.
