Installation Instructions

 

1. For the installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, it is essential to exclusively employ electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. Screw connections and bonding are strictly prohibited to ensure the integrity of the installation. Make sure each type of polyethylene water supply pipeline connection is executed with specialized tools. Refrain from using open flames during the connection process to avoid any material compromise.

2. Polyethylene pipes must be connected using PE pipes and fittings that share the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Before initiating the connection process, conduct a thorough test to ensure the quality standards are met, guaranteeing a reliable and durable connection.

3. When joining polyethylene water supply pipelines, make certain the pipe ends are clean and pristine. Temporarily seal the pipe openings at the end of each work session to prevent contamination. Immediately inspect the interface upon completing the connection to ensure it meets the required standards.

 

4. Before and after performing hot melt butt welding, meticulously clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth. Follow the heating time and temperature guidelines specified by the manufacturers of both the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings to achieve optimal results.

5. Adhere to the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as outlined by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these critical periods, it is imperative not to move or apply pressure to the connecting parts to maintain the integrity of the weld.

6. After completing the connection, conduct a comprehensive water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints prior to the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, clear out any air, and then rigorously check for water tightness to ensure there are no leaks.

7. The pipeline engineering construction is considered operational only after successfully passing the final acceptance inspection, ensuring the system is robust and ready for use.
