2. It is crucial to connect polyethylene pipes using PE pipes and fittings of the same esteemed brand, material, and SDR rating to ensure uniformity and reliability. Before embarking on the connection process, conduct a meticulous test to confirm that the quality aligns with the high standards required for optimal performance.
3. During the joining process of polyethylene water supply pipelines, it is essential to maintain the pipe ends in immaculate condition. At the end of each work session, temporarily seal the pipe openings to preserve their integrity. Promptly inspect the interface to ensure a flawless connection as soon as you complete it.
5. Adhere to the specified pressure holding and cooling periods for hot melt butt welding as per the recommendations of the equipment and pipe manufacturers. It is of utmost importance not to move or apply pressure to the connecting parts during these critical times to ensure a perfect weld.
6. After completing the connection, conduct a comprehensive water pressure test on the pipes. This test must be performed within 1 hour of completing the hot-melt weld for accurate results. Secure the pipeline, expose the joints, and fill the pipeline with water. Clear out any trapped air and meticulously check for water tightness to ensure the integrity of the connection.
7. The pipeline engineering construction project can only be considered operational after it successfully passes the final acceptance inspection, signifying that all standards have been met and the system is ready for use.
