The sophisticated connection methods of HDPE double-wall bellows with b and c tubes include an array of mechanical connections and a series of advanced thermal fusion techniques. The primary methods comprise butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection, ensuring robust and durable assembly.

1. For optimal performance, the pipeline should rest on a natural earth arc. In typical soil conditions, a 100mm layer of medium coarse sand should be laid over the undisturbed soil foundation or the compacted backfill below the pipe's bottom. If the soil foundation is of poor quality, a sand-gravel base layer of at least 200mm thickness is recommended. This can be laid in two layers: a lower layer of gravel (5~32mm particle size) with a thickness of 100~150mm, and an upper layer of coarse sand with a minimum thickness of 50mm. The base density must adhere to the specifications outlined in Table 2. In cases of soft soil foundations with insufficient bearing capacity due to design deficits or construction-induced disturbances, foundation reinforcement is mandatory. Only after achieving the specified bearing capacity should the medium coarse sand foundation layer be laid.

2. The axillary corners within the designed supporting angle range of the earth arc foundation must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling range should exceed the supporting angle 2α by at least 30 degrees, and the backfilling compactness must conform to the technical regulations.

3. The grooves at the socket interface and sleeve connections within the pipeline foundation should be excavated concurrently with the pipeline laying process. The groove dimensions-length, width, and depth-should correspond to the pipe joint size. Once the joint is completed, immediate backfilling with medium coarse sand is required to maintain proper density.

4. For sections where longitudinal uneven settlement of the pipeline might occur due to pipeline load and changes in ground soil, pre-laying foundation reinforcement is essential to ensure stability.
To enhance foundation stability for polyethylene drainage pipes, composite foundation treatment methods such as sand piles and stone piles are recommended. Rigid foundation treatments like driven piles, concrete pads, and concrete strip foundations should be avoided to prevent compromising the pipeline's integrity.
