Installation Instructions

1. For the expert installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, exclusively employ electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. Absolutely avoid screw connections or bonding. Utilize specialized tools for each type of polyethylene water supply pipeline connection. Under no circumstances should open flames be used for heating during the connection process.

2. Ensure that polyethylene pipes are connected using PE pipes and fittings of the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Before starting the connection process, conduct a thorough test to confirm that the quality meets the required standards.

3. When joining polyethylene water supply pipelines, maintain impeccably clean pipe ends. Temporarily seal pipe openings at the end of each work session. Immediately inspect the interface upon completing the connection to ensure optimal integrity.

4. Both before and after hot melt butt welding, meticulously clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth. Adhere strictly to the heating time and temperature guidelines specified by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings to ensure a flawless connection.

5. Follow the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as specified by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. It is crucial not to move or apply pressure to the connecting parts during these periods to ensure a secure and stable connection.

6. After the connection, conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour of completing the hot-melt weld. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints prior to the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, purge all air, and then check for water tightness to confirm the integrity of the connection.

7. The pipeline engineering construction can only be considered operational after successfully passing the final acceptance inspection, ensuring that all quality and performance standards are met.
