Installation Instructions

In the installation process of the Sleek MPP Electric Cable Tube, the connection method is an essential component. Choosing the correct connection method ensures the reliable operation of the power piping system. This section introduces several common connection methods for MPP power cable protection tubes, helping you understand the characteristics and application scenarios of each method.

01. Before installation, ensure the power supply, hydraulic oil, and heating plate of the welding machine meet the welding requirements. Perform an empty car test run on the milling cutter oil pump switch and other components. Install slips that match the pipe specifications into the rack. Set the heating plate temperature to the welding temperature and wipe its surface with clean, soft paper or alcohol to remove oil stains before heating.

02. Clean dirt from both ends of the pipe. Place the pipe into the frame clamp, ensuring equal extension lengths at both ends. Parts outside the pipe rack should be supported. Align the pipe height with the centerline of the frame, and secure the slip. Insert a milling cutter and mill the pipe.

03. Mill the pipe until continuous cutting occurs at both ends. Then, remove the pressure and let the milling cutter idle for two or three rotations before retracting the movable frame and turning off the milling cutter switch.

04. Remove the milling cutter and close the pipes at both ends. Check the end face, ensuring the displacement at both ends does not exceed 10% of the pipe wall thickness. When closing, there should be no significant gap between the pipe end faces, and the gap width should comply with 0.3MM (DN specifications).<25MM); If 0.5MM (225MM400MM) does not meet the requirements, it should be milled again.

05. When the heating plate reaches the set temperature, quickly place it into the rack and apply the specified pressure until the circumference of the pipe ends flips, and the minimum curling reaches the specified height. Reduce the pressure to the specified value, allowing the pipe end face to contact the heating plate, and continue heating for the specified time.

06.When the heat absorption time reaches the specified value, retract the movable frame and quickly remove the heating plate. Close the two pipe ends, ensuring the switching time is as short as possible, not exceeding the specified value. The closing pressure should be moderate to avoid squeezing out molten material and compromising welding quality.

07.Increase the pressure to the specified value and maintain it during cooling. After natural cooling to room temperature, release the pressure, loosen the slip, remove the pipe, and complete the welding process.
