Installation Instructions

The connection methods for HDPE double-wall bellows and b and c tubes encompass mechanical connections and a range of thermal fusion techniques. The primary methods include butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connections, and compression connections.

1. The pipeline installation must be based on an earth arc foundation. For general soil conditions, lay a 100mm thick layer of medium coarse sand on undisturbed soil or compacted backfill beneath the pipe. For poor soil conditions, opt for a sand-gravel base layer no less than 200mm thick, possibly in two layers: a lower gravel layer (5~32mm particle size, 100~150mm thick) and an upper coarse sand layer (minimum 50mm thick). The base density must adhere to the specifications in Table 2. For soft soil foundations with inadequate bearing capacity due to construction or precipitation, reinforce the foundation until it meets the required bearing capacity before laying the medium coarse sand base layer.

2. The axillary corner within the supporting angle range of the earth arc foundation must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfill range should not be less than the supporting angle 2α plus 30 degrees, with compactness meeting technical regulation standards.

3. Grooves for socket interfaces and sleeve connections in the foundation must be dug concurrently with pipeline laying. The groove dimensions (length, width, and depth) should match the pipe joint size. Upon joint completion, backfill the area with medium coarse sand immediately to ensure proper density.

4. For sections prone to longitudinal uneven settlement due to pipeline load or soil changes, reinforce the foundation before laying the pipeline.
For polyethylene drainage pipe foundation treatment, use composite methods such as sand piles and stone piles. Avoid rigid treatments like driven piles, concrete pads, and concrete strip foundations.
