Installation Instructions

1. For the secure installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, exclusively adopt electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. Screw connections and bonding are strictly prohibited. Utilize specialized tools for all polyethylene water supply pipeline connections, and avoid using open flames for heating during this process.

2. Ensure that polyethylene pipes are connected using PE pipes and fittings that are identical in brand, material, and SDR rating. Conduct a thorough test prior to connection to verify that the quality meets the necessary standards.

3. Maintain pristine pipe ends when joining polyethylene water supply pipelines. Temporarily seal pipe openings at the end of each work session, and immediately inspect the interface upon completing the connection.

4. Clean the heating plate meticulously with a pristine cotton cloth both before and after performing hot melt butt welding. Follow the heating time and temperature guidelines as specified by the manufacturers of both the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings.

5. Adhere to the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as stipulated by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. Avoid moving or applying pressure to the connecting parts during these critical periods.

6. Conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour of completing the hot-melt weld. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints before the hydrostatic test. Completely fill the pipeline with water, purge all air, and check for watertightness.

7. The pipeline engineering construction can only be considered fully operational after successfully passing the final acceptance inspection.
