The material of PE water supply pipes is PE (polyethylene) resin, polymerized from ethylene monomers. By altering polymerization conditions like pressure and temperature, various resin densities-high, medium, or low-are achieved. PE water supply pipes boast exceptional properties, including high toughness, corrosion resistance, crack resistance, stability at the interface, light weight, and ease of construction. Their versatility makes them ideal for water supply pipe manufacturing. Construction can be performed using traditional excavation methods or modern non-excavation techniques. Installation Instructions

 

1. When installing buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, it is absolutely essential to use only electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. The use of screw connections or bonding is strictly forbidden. Each polyethylene water supply pipeline connection should be executed with specialized tools, ensuring no open flames are used during the process.

2. Ensure that polyethylene pipes are connected utilizing PE pipes and fittings of the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Prior to initiating the connection, conduct a rigorous test to confirm that the quality adheres to the required standards.

3. When joining polyethylene water supply pipelines, it is imperative that the pipe ends are kept immaculate. At the conclusion of each work session, temporarily seal the pipe openings. Immediately inspect the interface upon completing the connection to ensure integrity.

 

4. Thoroughly clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth both before and after performing hot melt butt welding. Strictly adhere to the specified heating time and temperature guidelines provided by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings.

5. Follow the designated pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as specified by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these periods, it is crucial to avoid moving or applying pressure to the connecting parts to ensure a secure connection.

6. After completing the connection, it is essential to conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour post hot-melt weld. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints before performing the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, purge any air, and then meticulously check for water tightness.

7. The pipeline engineering construction can be considered operational only after successfully passing the final acceptance inspection, guaranteeing the system's reliability.
