Installation Instructions

The connection modes of HDPE double-wall bellows and b and c tubes include mechanical connection and a series of thermal fusion procedures. The main modes are butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection.

1. Pipeline Installation on Earth Arc: For general soil quality, lay a 100mm thick medium coarse sand base layer on the undisturbed soil foundation or the foundation with backfill compaction below the pipe. For poor soil quality, use a sand gravel base layer at least 200mm thick. This can be laid in two layers: the lower layer made of gravel with a particle size of 5-32mm and thickness of 100-150mm, and the upper layer of coarse sand with a thickness of not less than 50mm. The base density must comply with Table 2 provisions. For soft soil foundations, if the bearing capacity is less than design requirements or affected by construction, the foundation should be strengthened before laying a medium coarse sand foundation layer.

2. Axillary Corner Backfilling: The axillary corner within the support angle range of the designed earth arc foundation must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfill range should be at least the support angle 2α plus 30, and the backfill compactness must meet technical regulations.

3. Socket Interface and Sleeve Connection: The grooves in the socket interface and sleeve connection in the pipeline foundation should be dug during pipeline laying. The groove's length, width, and depth should match the pipe joint size. After joint completion, backfill with medium coarse sand immediately to ensure density.

4. Reinforcement for Uneven Settlement: For sections where longitudinal uneven settlement may occur due to pipeline load and ground soil change, reinforce the foundation before laying the pipeline.
Foundation Treatment Methods: Adopt composite foundation treatments like sand pile or stone pile for polyethylene drainage pipes. Avoid rigid foundation treatments such as driven pile, concrete pad, and concrete strip foundations.
