Installation Instructions

1. For the flawless installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, only use electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. Screw connections and bonding are strictly forbidden. Ensure every connection is made using specialized tools for polyethylene water supply pipelines. Avoid using open flames for heating during the connection process to maintain safety and integrity.

2. Polyethylene pipes must be connected using PE pipes and fittings of the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Before initiating the connection process, conduct a comprehensive quality test to ensure all materials meet the required standards.

3. When joining polyethylene water supply pipelines, make sure the pipe ends are impeccably clean. Seal the pipe openings at the end of each work session temporarily. Immediately inspect the interface upon completing each connection to ensure precision and security.

4. Thoroughly clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth both before and after performing hot melt butt welding. Follow the heating time and temperature guidelines prescribed by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings to ensure optimal results.

5. Adhere strictly to the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as outlined by both the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these critical periods, avoid moving or applying pressure to the connecting parts to ensure a secure and reliable bond.

6. After completing the connection, it is essential to conduct a water pressure test on the pipes. Perform this crucial test within 1 hour of finishing the hot-melt weld. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints prior to the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, ensure all air is expelled, and then check for watertightness to validate the connection's integrity.

7. The pipeline engineering construction can only be considered operational after it has successfully passed the final acceptance inspection, ensuring all connections and installations meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
