Installation Instructions
 

The connection modes of HDPE double-wall bellows and B and C tubes are versatile and robust, including mechanical connections and a range of thermal fusion techniques. The primary methods encompass butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connections, and compression connections.

1. The pipeline should be based on an earth arc. For general soil quality, a medium coarse sand base layer, 100mm thick, should be laid on the undisturbed soil foundation or a compacted backfill foundation beneath the pipe. When the foundation soil quality is poor, a 200mm thick sand-gravel base layer can be used, or two layers can be applied: the lower layer of 5-32mm gravel, 100-150mm thick, and the upper layer of coarse sand, no less than 50mm thick. Base density must comply with Table 2 provisions. For soft soil foundations where bearing capacity is less than design requirements or affected by construction precipitation, the foundation should first be strengthened. Once the foundation's specified bearing capacity is achieved, a medium coarse sand foundation layer should be laid.

2. The axillary corner within the designed earth arc foundation's supporting angle range must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling range should be no less than the supporting angle 2α plus 30, and compactness must conform to technical regulations.

3. Grooves for socket interfaces and sleeve connections in the pipeline foundation should be dug along with the pipeline laying. The groove's length, width, and depth should be determined based on the pipe joint size. Once the joint is completed, backfill with medium coarse sand immediately to ensure density.

4. For sections prone to longitudinal uneven settlement due to pipeline load and ground soil changes, reinforce the foundation before laying the pipeline.
Adopt composite foundation treatment methods such as sand piles and stone piles for polyethylene drainage pipe foundations. Avoid rigid foundation treatments like driven piles, concrete pads, and concrete strip foundations.
