Installation Instructions
1. To achieve the ultimate in performance and durability for your buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, exclusively employ the electric fusion welding and hot melt docking techniques. These methods are tailored to uphold the highest standards of integrity and strength, unlike screw connections or bonding, which may compromise pipeline robustness. Utilize specialized precision tools for every connection type of polyethylene water supply pipelines. Refrain from using open flames during connections to protect from damage and ensure utmost safety.
2. For optimal compatibility and reliability, connect polyethylene pipes using PE pipes and fittings from the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Before you start the connection, carry out a thorough test to ensure that the quality meets all required standards, securing a steadfast and enduring pipeline system.
3. When joining polyethylene water supply pipelines, it is imperative to keep pipe ends pristine for a flawless and effective connection. At the end of each work session, temporarily seal pipe openings to avoid contamination risks. Upon completing each connection, conduct an immediate inspection of the interface to verify its security and the absence of defects.
4. Prior to and following hot melt butt welding, meticulously clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth to guarantee optimal heat transfer and superior connection quality. Adhere strictly to the specified heating time and temperature guidelines provided by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipe fittings for exemplary results.
5. Adhere to the prescribed pressure holding and cooling periods for hot melt butt welding as stipulated by both the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these critical times, avoid moving or applying any pressure to the connected parts to secure a robust and stable joint.
6. After each connection, it is vital to conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour of completing the hot-melt weld to verify the pipeline's integrity and reliability. Secure the pipeline adequately and expose the joints before the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline fully with water, eliminate all air pockets, and confirm water tightness to ensure a successful connection.
7. A pipeline engineering construction project can only be considered operational after it successfully passes the final acceptance inspection. This ensures that all standards and specifications have been comprehensively met, guaranteeing a safe, reliable, and effective water supply system.
