Installation Instructions

1. For seamless installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, exclusively adopt electric fusion welding and hot melt docking techniques. Absolutely avoid screw connections or bonding. Ensure that every polyethylene water supply pipeline connection is executed with precision using specialized tools. Refrain from the use of open flames for heating during the connection process to maintain safety and integrity.

2. Polyethylene pipes demand connections using PE pipes and fittings of identical brand, material, and SDR rating. Prior to initiating the connection, perform a thorough test to confirm the quality meets the required standards, ensuring durability and reliability.

3. When joining polyethylene water supply pipelines, ensure the pipe ends are impeccably clean. Temporarily seal pipe openings at the end of each work session to maintain cleanliness. Immediately inspect the interface upon completing the connection to ensure a perfect seal.

4. Both before and after performing hot melt butt welding, meticulously clean the heating plate with a clean cotton cloth to avoid contamination. Adhere strictly to the heating time and temperature guidelines specified by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine and the associated pipes and fittings for optimal results.

5. Follow the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as specified by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these critical periods, it is paramount not to disturb or apply pressure to the connecting parts to ensure a flawless join.

6. Post-connection, it is crucial to conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour after completing the hot-melt weld. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints before the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, purge all air, and then meticulously check for water tightness to ensure no leaks.

7. The pipeline engineering construction is deemed operational only after successfully passing the rigorous final acceptance inspection, ensuring the highest standards of safety and functionality are met.
