Installation Instructions

 

During the installation of the MPP power cable protection tube, selecting the right connection method is crucial. An appropriate connection ensures the reliable operation of the power piping system. In this section, we will delve into various common MPP power cable protection tube connection methods, offering insights into their unique characteristics and optimal application scenarios.

01. Prior to installation, verify that the power supply, hydraulic oil, and heating plate of the welding machine meet the necessary welding requirements. Perform an idle test run on the milling cutter and oil pump switch. Install the slips that correspond to the pipe specifications into the rack. Adjust the temperature of the heating plate to the required welding temperature, and clean its surface with soft paper or alcohol to remove any oil stains before heating.

02. Remove any dirt from both ends of the pipe. Position the pipe into the frame clamp ensuring equal extension lengths at both ends. Support the parts outside the pipe rack with appropriate supports. Align the pipe height with the frame's centerline, and secure the slip. Insert a milling cutter and proceed to mill the pipe.

03. Continue milling the pipe until continuous cutting is observed at both ends. Once achieved, relieve the pressure and let the milling cutter idle for a few rotations before retracting the movable frame and turning off the milling cutter switch.

 

04. Remove the milling cutter and bring the pipe ends together. Inspect the end faces, ensuring that the displacement at both ends does not exceed 10% of the pipe wall thickness. When closing the ends, there should be no noticeable gap between the pipe faces, adhering to a gap width specification of 0.3MM (DN).<25MM); If 0.5MM (225MM400MM) does not meet the requirements, it should be milled again.

05. Once the heating plate reaches the set temperature, swiftly position it into the rack and apply the specified pressure. Ensure the circumference of the pipe ends flips and the minimum curling meets the required height. Reduce the pressure to the designated value, allowing the pipe end face to contact the heating plate, and continue heating for the specified duration.

06.Upon reaching the designated heat absorption time, retract the movable frame and promptly remove the heating plate. Join the pipe ends quickly, minimizing the switching time to stay within specified limits. Apply closing pressure cautiously to avoid squeezing out molten material, which can compromise welding quality.

07.Raise the pressure to the specified level and maintain it for the cooling phase. Once naturally cooled to room temperature, release the pressure, loosen the slip, and remove the pipe to complete the welding process.
