Installation Instructions
1. To ensure a flawless installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, leverage the superior techniques of electric fusion welding and hot melt docking exclusively. The use of screw connections or bonding is strictly forbidden to maintain pipeline integrity. Each connection of the polyethylene water supply pipeline must be executed with precision using specialized tools crafted for this purpose, avoiding open flames for a safe and effective connection process.
2. Achieve perfect connectivity by utilizing PE pipes and fittings that share the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Prior to embarking on the connection journey, conduct a meticulous quality test to assure that the standards are not just met, but exceeded.
3. For exemplary joining of polyethylene water supply pipelines, ensure that the pipe ends remain impeccably clean. At the end of each work session, temporarily seal the pipe openings to safeguard against contamination. Upon completion of the connection, immediately scrutinize the interface to ensure a seamless join.
4. To achieve optimal results in hot melt butt welding, diligently clean the heating plate with a spotless cotton cloth both before and after the welding process. Adhere strictly to the heating time and temperature guidelines provided by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings to guarantee a perfect weld.
5. Follow the detailed guidelines for pressure holding and cooling times during hot melt butt welding as specified by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. It is paramount that no movement or undue pressure is applied to the connecting parts during these crucial periods to ensure a strong, reliable connection.
6. After completing the connection, it is vital to conduct a rigorous water pressure test on the pipes. This test should be performed within one hour post hot-melt weld. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints before conducting the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, expel all air, and verify the water tightness meticulously.
7. The pipeline engineering construction will be acknowledged as operational only after it has successfully cleared the comprehensive final acceptance inspection.
