Installation Instructions
During the installation of the MPP power cable protection tube, choosing the correct connection method is critical for ensuring the reliable operation of the power piping system. This guide introduces several common MPP power cable protection tube connection methods to help you understand the unique characteristics and ideal application scenarios for each method.
01, Before beginning the installation, verify that the power supply, hydraulic oil, and heating plate of the welding machine meet all welding requirements. Perform a test run on the milling cutter oil pump switch, etc. Attach slips that match the pipe specifications into the rack. Set the heating plate to the required welding temperature, and clean its surface with soft paper or alcohol to remove any oil stains before heating.
02, Clean both ends of the pipe to remove any dirt. Place the pipe into the frame clamp, ensuring that the extension length is equal on both ends. Support the parts outside the pipe rack with appropriate supports. Align the pipe height with the centerline of the frame, secure the slip, insert a milling cutter, and mill the pipe.
03, Continue milling until both ends of the pipe achieve continuous cutting. Release the pressure and allow the milling cutter to idle for two to three turns before retracting the movable frame and turning off the milling cutter switch.
04, Remove the milling cutter and bring the pipe ends together. Check the end face alignment; the displacement at both pipe ends should not exceed 10% of the pipe wall thickness. Ensure there are no obvious gaps between the pipe ends, and the gap width should adhere to: 0.3MM (DN.<25MM); If 0.5MM (225MM400MM) does not meet the requirements, it should be milled again.
05, Once the heating plate reaches the set temperature, quickly position it into the rack and apply the specified pressure until the pipe ends' circumference flips and the minimum curling meets the required height. Reduce the pressure to the specified value so that the pipe end faces contact the heating plate, and continue heating for the designated duration.
06,When the heat absorption time is complete, retract the movable frame and promptly remove the heating plate. Close the pipe ends swiftly, ensuring the switching time is minimal and within the specified limit. Avoid applying excessive pressure, as it could expel molten material and compromise welding quality.
07,Increase the pressure to the specified value and maintain it until the pipe cools naturally to room temperature. Once cooled, release the pressure, loosen the slip, and remove the pipe to complete the welding process.
