1. To ensure the utmost efficiency and longevity of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, exclusively employ electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. These techniques preserve the structural integrity and robustness of the pipeline far better than screw connections or bonding, which should be strictly avoided. Meticulously utilize specialized tools crafted for precision when connecting each type of polyethylene water supply pipeline. Additionally, abstain from using open flames for heating during the connection process to avert any potential damage and to uphold safety standards.
2. Achieving exceptional compatibility and reliability in polyethylene pipe connections necessitates the use of PE pipes and fittings that share the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Prior to initiating the connection process, it is vital to conduct a thorough and comprehensive test to ensure that the quality aligns with required standards, thereby securing a durable and long-lasting pipeline system.
3. Achieving flawless connections in polyethylene water supply pipelines starts with maintaining immaculate pipe ends. This guarantees seamless and efficient joining. Always seal pipe openings temporarily at the end of each work session to avert contamination. Upon completion of the connection, conduct an immediate inspection of the interface to ensure security and the absence of defects.
4. Achieve optimal heat transfer and connection quality by meticulously cleaning the heating plate with a spotless cotton cloth both before and after performing hot melt butt welding. It is imperative to adhere stringently to the heating time and temperature guidelines provided by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings. This precision ensures superior results.
5. Adhering to the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding is essential, as stipulated by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these critical periods, it is of utmost importance to refrain from moving or applying pressure to the connecting parts, ensuring a robust and stable connection.
6. Following connection, conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour post hot-melt weld completion. This is crucial to verify the pipeline's integrity and reliability. Securely fasten the pipeline and expose the joints before the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, thoroughly purge all air, and diligently check for water tightness to confirm a successful and leak-free connection.
7. Only after successfully passing the rigorous final acceptance inspection can the pipeline engineering construction be deemed operational. This ensures that all standards and specifications have been meticulously met, establishing a safe and effective water supply system that stands the test of time.
