Installation Instructions
1. For the successful installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, exclusively utilize electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. Under no circumstances should screw connections or bonding be employed. It is imperative to ensure that each connection of the polyethylene water supply pipeline is executed with specialized tools. Refrain from using open flames for heating during the connection process to maintain safety and integrity.
2. Ensure a seamless connection of polyethylene pipes by using PE pipes and fittings of the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Before initiating the connection process, undertake a detailed test to ensure that the quality standards are met with precision.
3. To guarantee a secure joint of polyethylene water supply pipelines, the pipe ends must be immaculate. At the end of each work session, temporarily seal the pipe openings. Post-connection, conduct an immediate inspection of the interface to verify the integrity of the join.
4. Prior to and following the hot melt butt welding process, meticulously clean the heating plate with a spotless cotton cloth. It is crucial to follow the heating time and temperature guidelines as specified by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine and the respective pipes and fittings.
5. Adhere to the specified pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as detailed by both the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these crucial phases, it is essential to avoid moving or applying pressure on the connecting parts to prevent any compromise in the weld's integrity.
6. Following the connection, conduct a thorough water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour of completing the hot-melt weld. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints before proceeding with the hydrostatic test. Ensure the pipeline is filled with water, eliminate any trapped air, and meticulously check for water tightness to confirm the system's reliability.
7. The pipeline engineering construction achieves operational status only after it has successfully passed the comprehensive final acceptance inspection, ensuring all criteria are met.
