The material of PE water supply pipes is PE (polyethylene) resin, meticulously polymerized from monomer ethylene. By varying polymerization conditions such as pressure and temperature, we achieve different resin densities, resulting in high-density polyethylene, medium-density polyethylene, and low-density polyethylene. 2. Ensure that polyethylene pipes are connected using PE pipes and fittings of the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Before beginning the connection process, conduct a thorough test to confirm the quality meets the highest standards required.
3. During the joining of polyethylene water supply pipelines, maintain the pipe ends in pristine condition. Temporarily seal pipe openings at the end of each work session. Immediately inspect the interface upon completing the connection to ensure a secure and reliable bond.
5. Follow the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as stipulated by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these critical periods, it is essential not to move or apply pressure to the connecting parts to maintain the integrity of the joint.
6. Post-connection, conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour after completing the hot-melt weld. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints prior to the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, purge all air, and then meticulously check for water tightness to ensure a leak-free system.
7. The pipeline engineering construction can only be deemed operational after successfully passing the final acceptance inspection. This ensures that all work meets the stringent standards required for reliable and safe operation.
