Installation Instructions
1. For the seamless installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, exclusively employ electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods for unmatched performance and longevity. Avoid screw connections or bonding as these may jeopardize the pipeline's integrity. Use specialized tools tailored for precision with every polyethylene water supply pipeline connection. To ensure safety and prevent damage, refrain from using open flames during the connection process.
2. Ensure compatibility and reliability by connecting polyethylene pipes using PE pipes and fittings of the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Before starting the connection process, perform a comprehensive test to verify that the quality meets the required standards, thereby guaranteeing a secure, durable, and long-lasting pipeline.
3. It is crucial to maintain pristine pipe ends when joining polyethylene water supply pipelines to achieve a seamless and efficient connection. Protect the integrity of the pipeline by temporarily sealing pipe openings at the end of each work session to prevent contamination. Immediately after completing the connection, scrutinize the interface to ensure it is secure and devoid of defects.
4. Prior to and following hot melt butt welding, meticulously clean the heating plate with a new cotton cloth to ensure optimal heat transfer and superior connection quality. Adhere strictly to the heating time and temperature guidelines provided by the manufacturers of both the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings to achieve unparalleled results.
5. Adhere to the recommended pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as specified by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these critical periods, it is essential not to move or exert pressure on the connecting parts to secure a robust and stable connection.
6. After completing the hot-melt weld, it is crucial to conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour to assess the integrity and reliability of the pipeline. Prepare for the hydrostatic test by securing the pipeline and exposing the joints. Fill the pipeline with water, ensure all air is purged, and check for water tightness to confirm a successful connection.
7. The pipeline engineering construction can be deemed fully operational only after passing the final acceptance inspection, ensuring that all industry standards and specifications have been met for a safe, efficient, and effective water supply system.
