2. Ensure that polyethylene pipes are connected using PE pipes and fittings that are of the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Before beginning the connection process, perform a comprehensive test to verify that the quality aligns with the required standards, ensuring durability and reliability.
3. The joining of polyethylene water supply pipelines demands that pipe ends are immaculate. At the conclusion of each work session, temporarily seal the pipe openings to preserve cleanliness. Immediately after completing the connection, inspect the interface rigorously to ensure a secure fit.
5. Adhere to the specified pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as outlined by both the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these critical periods, it is imperative to refrain from moving or applying any pressure to the connecting parts to maintain the integrity of the weld.
6. After the connection, it is of utmost importance to conduct a water pressure test on the pipes. This test should be performed within 1 hour of completing the hot-melt weld. Ensure the pipeline is securely fastened and joints are exposed prior to the hydrostatic test. The pipeline should be filled with water, with all air expelled, to check for water tightness and confirm the reliability of the connection.
7. Pipeline engineering construction is deemed operational only after the successful completion and approval of the final acceptance inspection, marking the culmination of a meticulous installation process and the beginning of reliable service.
