Installation Instructions
1. Before embarking on the installation journey, ensure each Wilvida HDPE PE100 Composite Pipe, 75mm Water Supply Pipe undergoes a meticulous inspection. This guarantees absolute adherence to the pinnacle of product standards. Pipes that do not meet these rigorous criteria are strictly forbidden from being installed, ensuring only the best performance and reliability.
2. Handle each pipe with the utmost diligence and care during relocation. Avoid dragging or rolling, and refrain from using heavy machinery such as forklifts or tractors that could potentially harm the pipes while they're in the trench. This preserves the pipe's integrity and longevity.
3. Ensure the trench remains utterly dry throughout the pipe-laying process to protect the pipes. Ideally, synchronize trench excavation with pipe installation. The trench groove's length should align perfectly with the interface length, featuring a depth between 50-100mm and a width that surpasses the pipe's outer diameter. Immediately fill the groove with medium coarse sand once the interface is completed to secure the installation.
4. Cut pipes to the desired lengths using mechanical methods for precision, ensuring the cuts are clean and flat, perpendicular to the pipe's axis. Avoid using open flames for cutting to preserve the pipe's structural integrity and safety.
5. When modifying pipe diameters or adding branch pipes, it is imperative to use the correct pipe fittings to maintain system coherence and reliability. Avoid direct openings on pipes or fittings to preserve the system's integrity.
6. Carefully lay pipes according to the designated slope specified in the design requirements, ensuring that any elevation discrepancies remain within the permissible range set by the national standard GB 50268, 'Code for the Construction and Application of Water Supply and Drainage Pipe Engineering.' This guarantees optimal functionality and efficiency.
7. Under conditions of low ambient temperatures or near-minimum thresholds, utilize fusion or flange connections. Ensure all components involved in connections, such as sockets, sleeves, and seals, are impeccably clean, free from soil, water, or other impurities. Apply appropriate anti-corrosion treatments to metal components like looping flanges and bolts, tailored to the soil quality and relevant standards, to enhance durability and resist environmental challenges.
