Installation Instructions
1. Before installation, each Wilvida HDPE PE100 Composite Pipe, 75mm Water Supply Pipe is subjected to a comprehensive inspection to ensure compliance with superior product standards. Any pipe that does not meet these exacting specifications is strictly disallowed from installation, ensuring only the highest quality pipes are used.
2. Handle each pipe with exceptional caution during movement. Avoid dragging, rolling, or employing heavy machinery like forklifts, tractors, or any devices that could potentially damage the pipes within the trench. This careful handling preserves the integrity and longevity of the piping system.
3. Keep the trench dry throughout the pipe installation process. Ideally, excavation should synchronize with the pipe laying. Match the trench groove length with the interface length, ensuring a depth of 50-100mm and a width no less than the pipe's outer diameter. After interfacing, promptly fill the groove with medium coarse sand.
4. When cutting pipes to the desired lengths, use mechanical methods for clean, precise cuts perpendicular to the pipe axis. Avoid open flames to preserve the pipe's structural integrity and ensure smooth, even edges.
5. Use appropriate pipe fittings when modifying pipe diameters or connecting branch pipes. Avoid direct openings on pipes or fittings to maintain the integrity and reliability of the entire system, ensuring secure connections.
6. Lay pipes following the specified slope detailed in the design requirements, ensuring elevation errors remain within limits set by the national standard GB 50268, 'Code for the Construction and Application of Water Supply and Drainage Pipe Engineering'. This precision ensures optimal system function and performance.
7. In low ambient temperatures or near-minimum thresholds, use fusion or flange connections. Ensure all connecting parts, including sockets, sleeves, and seals, are thoroughly clean and free from soil, water, or impurities. Apply anti-corrosion treatments to metal components like looping flanges and bolts, adhering to soil quality and relevant standards for enhanced durability.
