Installation Instructions
During the installation of the MPP power cable protection tube, selecting the right connection method is crucial for the system's reliability. This section elucidates various common connection techniques for MPP power cable protection tubes, offering insights into their unique characteristics and best application scenarios.
01, Prior to installation, ensure the power supply, hydraulic oil, and heating plate of the welding machine meet the necessary welding standards. Perform an empty run test on the milling cutter oil pump switch. Install the slips that match the pipe specifications into the rack. Set the heating plate to the required welding temperature, and clean its surface with clean soft paper or alcohol to remove oil stains before heating.
02, Remove any dirt from both pipe ends. Position the pipe into the frame clamp, ensuring equal extension lengths at both ends, supported adequately outside the pipe rack. Align the pipe with the frame's centerline, secure the slip, insert a milling cutter, and begin milling the pipe.
03, Mill the pipe ends until continuous cutting is achieved. Remove the pressure and idle the milling cutter for two to three rotations before retracting the movable frame and switching off the milling cutter.
04, Extract the milling cutter and bring the pipe ends together. Inspect the faces; the displacement at both ends should be within 10% of the pipe wall thickness. Ensure no obvious gaps between the end faces, adhering to the gap width requirement: 0.3MM (DN.<25MM); If 0.5MM (225MM400MM) does not meet the requirements, it should be milled again.
05, Once the heating plate reaches the set temperature, swiftly place it into the rack. Apply the specified pressure until the pipe ends' circumference flips and the minimum curling height is achieved. Reduce the pressure to the designated value, allowing the pipe end to contact the heating plate, and continue heating for the allotted time.
06,Upon reaching the specified heat absorption time, retract the movable frame, quickly remove the heating plate, and close the pipe ends. The switch time should be minimal, not exceeding the set value. Avoid excessive closing pressure to prevent squeezing out molten material, which would degrade welding quality.
07,Increase the pressure to the specified value and maintain it during the cooling process. Once naturally cooled to room temperature, release the pressure, loosen the slip, remove the pipe, and complete the welding process.
