Installation Instructions
1. When installing buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, ensure top performance and durability by exclusively employing electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. Never resort to screw connections or bonding, as they weaken the pipeline's strength and integrity. Utilize precision-engineered tools specifically designed for each type of polyethylene water supply pipeline connection. Eschew open flames for heating during the connection process to safeguard against damage and enhance safety.
2. For seamless, reliable pipeline performance, connect polyethylene pipes using PE pipes and fittings sharing the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Prior to connection, conduct a thorough quality test to assure standards are met, ensuring a secure and enduring pipeline.
3. Achieve seamless, efficient connections by maintaining pristine pipe ends when joining polyethylene water supply pipelines. Seal pipe openings temporarily at the end of each work session to avert contamination. Conduct immediate inspections on completed interfaces to ascertain security and defect-free conditions.
4. To guarantee optimal heat transfer and superior connection quality during hot melt butt welding, diligently clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth both before and after use. Follow the manufacturer's specified heating time and temperature guidelines for the hot melt butt welding machine, pipes, and fittings to ensure exemplary results.
5. Adhere strictly to the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as outlined by both equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these critical periods, avoid any movement or pressure on the connecting parts to maintain a robust and stable connection.
6. To affirm the pipeline's integrity and reliability post-connection, perform a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour of completing the hot-melt weld. Securely expose the joints prior to the hydrostatic test, fill the pipeline with water, expel all air, and verify water tightness to ensure connection success.
7. The pipeline engineering construction is only ready for operation after triumphantly passing the final acceptance inspection. This guarantees that all standards and specifications are met, providing a safe, efficient water supply system.
